We are a not-for-profit organization that was founded in Mbarara with the main aim of promoting
basketball in Mbarara city and the surrounding districts. Beyond Basketball Foundation believes every young
person can achieve greatness in life. We believe that through sports, youths are given the tools to explore, learn, invent, and develop.
Our Mission
To help players, coaches and the community as a whole to transition from a narrow focus on talent development and strategy implementation, to a more comprehensive vision of holistic development, which promotes personal growth, appreciation of others, and community development.
BBF looks to close this gap by providing an avenue for the youth to meet responsible adults who will guide them in life as they transform from childhood to adulthood. They are provided with a chance to develop their talents, stay healthy, build relations and earn income from their talent.
The organization stands on 4 pillars which include:
